Registration & fee

The registration fees for FoodRevolution® 2024 includes include the book of abstracts, lunch, coffee/tea, and drinks/snacks as announced in the timetable.

The CATALYSE/ILSI Europe workshop on Wednesday 23 October is also included.

The exclusive conference dinner takes place on Tuesday 22 October 2024. Price: € 80 (exclusive of VAT) per person. Book your place via the Conference Registration Form. Please note that the number of places is limited!

The registration fees do not include hotel accommodation.

Italian food technologists: Are you registered in the 'albo dei Tecnologi Alimentari' of the 'Consiglio dell'Ordine Nazionale dei Tecnologi Alimentari'? You will receive one 'credito formativo' for each hour of participating in FoodRevolution® 2024. Select the dedicated discounted fee in the conference registration form.

1  Bachelor, Master and PhD students only; this fee does not apply if the student is employed by a company. Registration will only be accepted if the Conference Registration Form is accompanied by a proof of studentship. Please note: Postdocs are not considered 'students'.

2  This fee applies to universities, non-private research institutes, and non-profit organizations.

3  A startup company is considered to be a company seeking, developing, and validating a scalable business model; average lifespan about 5 years

4  Every paying participant (except for registered students) may be accompanied by one participant for the special registration fee, provided that the following conditions are met: (i) the paying participant and the accompanying participant are employed with the same company/organisation at the same location; and (ii) the paying participant and the accompanying participant register and pay (with ONE invoice) at the same time.

Important information

The fees mentioned above do not include VAT (Value Added Tax). According to EU legislation, the services in respect of admission to cultural, artistic, sporting, scientific, educational, entertainment or similar events, are subjected to the VAT of the place where the event actually takes place. As the event will take place in Italy, the service invoiced to you will be subjected to Italian VAT (22%). See, in this regard, articles 53 and 54 of Council Directive 2006/112/EC.

Cancellation policy

Refunds, minus administrative charge (EUR 150) will be made for cancellations received up to 21 August 2024. Cancellations are only valid if notice is received in writing. For cancellations made after 21 August 2024, no refunds will be paid.
